Na Válce světů se bohužel výrazně podepisuje její stáří. Zdlouhavé popisy, tuctové postavy, stupidní závěr. A ano, jsem si vědom toho, jakou hra vyvolala ve své době hysterii, ale jako kniha nestojí za moc.

Jelikož jsem nejdříve viděla film, do knihy se mi vůbec nechtělo. Ale musím uznat, že to oproti filmu, který se mi vůbec nelíbil příjemně překvapilo. V knize to všechno konečně dávalo smysl, protože jsem tam našla potřebný popis a vysvětlení, který filmu chyběl. Určitě zajímavé čtení, které si najde své příznivce.
