Krásný návrat do světa Eragona. Paolini krásně zvládnul zpracovat pohled na svět s jinou postavou (tedy Murtagha) i jeho draka Trna. Ukázal, že jeho svět je stále plný překvapení a díky jeho čtivému popisu se kniha četla jedním dechem. Zároveň i o něco více přiblížil život obou postav a čemu všemu čelili v období války. Je to krásné navázání na původní tetralogii plné napětí, tajemných odhalení a těžkých zkoušek.

Krásný návrat do světa Eragona s temnější atmosférou. Kdo četl původní sérii určitě ocení další díl. Co vůbec nechápu proč nakladatelství Fragment vydalo pátou knížku v sérii v jiném rozměru ( je menší ) než všechny ostatní knížky. Vypadá to jako pěst na oko na poličce i anglické vydání zvládlo zachovat rozměr. Tak si říkám kde ve Fragmentu udělali chybu.
