    Od Robina Cooka jsem četl všechno, co napsal. Většina knih je skvělá, ale tohle je nejhorší jeho dílo. Jako kdyby to nepsal ani on. Předvídatelné, roztáhlé a nudné. Není to ani romantika, ani detektivka. Fakt škoda času a peněz.

    Sice jsem od příběhu asi jako většina čtenářů čekala něco jiného, ale i tak mě příběh neskutečně chytl. Stránky mi doslova mizely před očima. Celá napjatá jsem čekala, jak to všechno skončí a nechápavě kroutila hlavou nad tím, jak funguje americké zdravotnictví. Ke konci jsem dokonce uronila slzu. Konec byl sice trochu moc uspěchaný, ale i tak musím říct, že se mi kniha velice líbila.
