Drawing on case-law of the International Court of Justice, international criminal courts and tribunals, regional human rights courts and national, as well as domestic jurisprudence of many States, this commentary provides authoritative guidance on the Genocide Convention, including key matters such as the definition of genocide, the duty of States to prevent and punish it, and on the Convention?s implementation regime.?
