Also included are irreverent portraits of other luminaries, such as F. Scott Fitzgerald and Ford Madox Ford, and insightful recollections of his own early experiments with his craft. Příjemné čtení pojednávající o životě Hemingwaye (převážně) v Paříži během 20. let. Čtenář se dozví zajímavé ale i zábavné historky z přátelství např. s G. Steinovou či S. Fitzgeraldem. Rozhodně se nejedná o ledabyle psané "vzpomínky" ale spíše o důležité a laskavé popsání časů a míst, ve kterých Hemingway žil a tvořil. :-)
