One of the best books I've read. The story is full of insane plot twists and we can see the characters grow. In the bad way. It's full of Shakespeare's quotes or plays so it's better if you actually read these but it doesnt mean that you wont enjoy it without reading them. It's really long book that some people might find boring but it's worth it. 100% recommended

Shakespeara som nemala nikdy obzvlášť v láske. Síce je považovaný za génia, ktorý miloval komédiu, ale ešte radšej sa vyžíval v tragédii, ale mňa jeho tvorba neoslovila. Skupina siedmych študentov začína svoj posledný rok štúdia. Herectvo majú v krvi, ale Shakespear sa im zavŕtal až do duše. Ako divadelníci žijú jeho veršami, ktoré citujú každú chvíľu. Oliver, ako rozprávač príbehu mi bol od samého začiatku sympatický a ja som čakala, ako celý príbeh rozpovie. Prepúšťajú ho z väznice, kde strávil desať rokov a čakala som na jeho verzii udalostí. Jeho rozprávanie bolo pomalé, občas nudné, ale zároveň čarovné takým tým temným spôsobom. Znepokojivo mrazivé aj nepríjemné, ale nevedela som sa od toho odtrhnúť. Zápletku som odhalila pomerne skoro, ale to mi nič neubralo na zážitku a ten záver? Ten mi zaručene zlomil srdiečko. Mám pocit, že po dočítaní Darebákov a bláznov si môžem odškrtnúť aj zopár Shakespearových diel, ktoré tam boli citované jedna radosť.

One of my all time favourite books, I could not put this book down. It made me cry, it made me laugh. The writing style is just wonderful and I particularly enjoyed the fact that this book was structured as a play. Even the dialogue was structured that way and it was absolutely amazing. 1000000/10 recommend.

I loved this book and it's definetly one of my favourites. I love all of the characters expect for Alexander... But that was kind of the point of the book to make us hate him, I think. I also loved how the author included the Shakespear's quotes. The end made cry a bit and I couldn't stop thinking of it for days.
