Popis

Tracing the Footsteps of the Trapp Family through Salzburg Sixty years ago, the musical film 'The Sound of Music', filmed in Salzburg, premiered. Since then, more than a billion people have watched the Oscar-winning film, and every year around 300,000 fans come to Salzburg to trace the footsteps of the Trapp family and visit the original filming locations. These are legendary scenes that continue to captivate audiences: Julie Andrews as Fraulein Maria dancing with the children entrusted to her through the Mirabell Gardens, singing in front of the backdrop of Hohenwerfen Castle, or walking down the aisle with Georg von Trapp (Christopher Plummer) in the Basilica of Mondsee. The book leads to the famous filming locations and tells their stories. It serves as a charming companion for 'The Sound of Music' fans and as essential reading for anyone interested in the Trapp family. At the same time, it is the perfect souvenir and gift from a trip to Salzburg.
