The unusual and representative book of the legendary aerodynamic beauty from Kopřivnice in Czechoslovakia is beyond the usual design of similar publications in the range of motoring literature. The main character itself, the iconic \"Šestettrojka\" in the main role, would tell you her life story as a beautiful woman on 384 pages. A woman who in her youth was a dream and an object of the unfulfillable desire of most vain motorists. Today, a lady who, even more than sixty years after her birth, arouses admiration and interest at home and abroad. And maybe stronger than the young one. The engaging story of this car wonder will reveal all its essential moments of its life. From the contexts preceding her birth, the first children's steps, through her teenage years full of adolescent beauty, sports achievements, adulthood in service, to the technical obsolescence and old age. All this in historical and social contexts. These are sensitively supplemented in several places by the author's inputs in the form of memories of witnesses and their descendants.

It does not seem that difficult to translate a text, a simple sentence, the thing that is harder is to grasp their meanings to faithfully interpret author’s thoughts, feelings, to sense their hearts. The lines of this book are not a mere text or just facts written by all of the co-authors, each of the words was penned by their passion, love, enthusiasm for one lovely classic car to share or arouse their feelings. Hopefully, I did not fail to convey them. Well, I am pretty sure you will enjoy this book, but do not read it, feel it, only then will be the read more enjoyable.
