In the mundane, materialistic world, modern man is largely unaware of such a thing as an occult alphabet. In the Western tradition, the letters of the alphabet are the sacred symbols of God and man. ­is complete system of magic and philosophy was used by God to create the Universe through the utterance of Divine language. He taught its secrets to the Angels, who taught them to Adam who passed the knowledge on to the Hebrew Patriarchs, using the letters themselves as memory aids to do so. Although the letter sounds have come to us unchanged, the symbols have changed to suit the Earthly needs of man for recording human speech and business transactions. Th­ey are the foundation and the model for all the occult alphabets, sacred scripts and magic ciphers used by man to record the Word of God and the teachings of His prophets as Scripture in Holy books.
