Teenager Renee Mendez is a talented artist living in Corinth, Illinois. When Sam and Dean Winchester come to town to investigate the "miracles” these new gods perform, a battle for supremacy breaks out. As their war for followers rages, the gods will destroy each other-and the town's population-until only the strongest remains. Waggoner has published over thirty novels and three collections of short stories. He is also a full-time tenured professor who teaches creative writing and composition at Sinclair College. In 2017 he won the Bram Stoker Award for Best Long Fiction with The Winter Box.
