Slingshot is the debut poetry collection from Andrew Ogun, exploring the tension between where you are and where you want to be.

Andrew explains â€˜I feel like society, both consciously and unconsciously, tries to reduce people into predetermined and defined categories. Slingshot has allowed me to break free from those boxes and return to base. Many people know me as a musician, some know me as an activist, others know me for my job, others know me on a more personal and intimate level but poetry is where I started. Slingshot has been a process of healing but also a process of unmasking and showing the world what really happens in my inner life.â€™
