Medusa Gorgon's Deadly Side-Eye (Medusa Gorgon book 2)

Meddy G is back for a new term at school, and unlike last time, everything it TOTALLY fine... She's finally settled into the twenty-first century life and everything is going well ... apart from her stress levels which are worse than ever, so much so that she accidentally turns one of her teachers to stone! You see, Medusa may be living in the twenty-first century, but she's still the famous Medusa Gorgon from ancient Greece. And it seems that her teenage angst comes served with a stoney side-eye.  To make matters worse, when new boy Percy shows up, she seems to go into a very strange daze. Meddy can't understand why her words get muddled and her cheeks heat up everytime she's around him.  But little does she know that Percy has been send by Athena to cause yet more chaos in Medusa's new life. Because Percy is actually Perseus, and he's been sent on a mission to take Meddy G down for good... The second book in the laugh-out-loud series Medusa Gorgon's Bad Hair Day Meddy Gorgon is loosly based on the famous Greek myth of Medusa, ideal for young fans of Greek mythology.  A highly illustrated book, great for fans of Loki and Lottie Brooks. Funny and fantastic illustrations by Katie Abey who has illustrated over fifty books for children. MORE PRAISE FOR MEDUSA GORGON'S BAD HAIR DAY “I gobbled up Medusa's diary. It's gripping, fun and children are going to love the abundant illustrations. [...] Bravo Bethany Walker: that's storytelling worthy of the Gods.” – Jenny McLachlan "Guaranteed to make you snort out loud at least once per page and with loads of mythological facts so your teachers can't complain!" – Lisette Auton The second book in the hilarious and highly illustrated diary of Medusa Gorgon. She's got snakes for hair and now the added problem a very stoney stare. A book inspired by Greek mythology and great for fans of Hercules: the Diary of a (sort of) Hero and Lottie Brooks series.
