Není to jen roztomilá romance v mytologickém kabátku. Rachel Smythe se nebojí otevřít témata jako manipulace, tlak okolí, kontrola, hranice, toxické chování nebo veřejný obraz, a to všechno způsobem, který občas umí být fakt nepříjemný. Některé scény vás jen znejistí, jiné vás reálně zabolí. Ale právě díky tomu to nepůsobí plytce. Druhá kniha na mě navíc působí jako výraznější rozjezd: vztahy se zamotávají, emoce houstnou a Persefonin svět se ukazuje v ostřejších konturách. A moderní Olymp s jeho bohy (mobily, společenské hry, „co se o kom řeklo“) tomu dává překvapivě současný náboj. Tenhle komiks totálně miluju!
