David Chipperfield, one of the most important architects at work in the world today, is known for his subtle and sophisticated buildings. This book, published to accompany the major exhibition at Londons Design Museum, spans his entire career to date, examining a range of projects through new and archive models, sketches, drawings, photographs and film. Among the featured projects are the River and Rowing Museum in Henley-on-Thames, the HepworthWakefield Gallery, the Museum of Modern Literature in Marbach, Germany (winner of the RIBA Stirling Prize for Architecture 2007), and the reconstruction of the Neues Museum in Berlin.
