Following the success of her strikingly original storybook The Fairytale Princess, Su Blackwell’s sumptuous fairytale images, cut out from the pages of classic fables, are now brought to life in this beautiful paper theatre.

The covers open out to reveal an ingeniously designed pop-up theatre stage, complete with a set of slot-in scenery sheets, moveable characters and free-standing props. The theatre comes with a booklet of instructions on how to stage your own performance of Sleeping Beauty for family and friends, including a script to follow.

For ages 6+ but The Sleeping Beauty Theatre will be coveted by children and adults alike!

Su Blackwell is an artist and art director working predominantly within the realm of paper and old books. She is the creator of The Fairytale Princess, also published by Thames & Hudson. Corina Fletcher’s recent work includes pop-up editions of Guess How Much I Love You and the hugely popular books of Lauren Child.
