Tahle romantická fantasy obletěla sociální sítě a zanechala za sebou spoušť jako hurikán. Na Goodreads byla nominována na romantasy roku 2024. Všude na mě vyskakovaly koláže, recenze, oblíbené citáty a videa. Prostě další hit, který mě nenechal chladnou a musela jsem zjistit, pro co je ten povyk. Zvlášť, když se letos dočkáme i překladu. Sice není ještě dopsaný ani druhý díl, ale na sociálních sítích se autorka zmínila také o tom, že Netflix chce natočit film podle knižní předlohy. Máme se tedy na co těšit. Tak honem přečíst knihu dříve, než bude její adaptace na televizních obrazovkách!

Těšila jsem se na český překlad, ale musím přiznat, že slovo "faesky" válečník mě od čtení knihy v čj dost odrazuje.. ne všechny výrazy, jako například jména- typicky Jerab/Rowan z TOG, by se měly prekladat a naopak něco podle mě preklad vyžaduje...

Worldbuilding byl fajn, ale co se týče děje, je to směs všech nejpopulárnějších tropes poslední doby, která místy zcela postrádá soudržnost a smysl. Čtivá kniha to celkem je, ale trpí na výskyt klasické zkratky ve formě plot magic. Nenáročná, na pláž.

The story was quite interesting but nothing extra original, I feel like I’ve read this a few times before. The love story was somewhat rushed but the development was there however short it was. But the world building was truly amazing! I loved all the details that were put into each place and world. I feel like I love the side characters more than the main ones. But still, it was a comforting read and I could relax when reading it. So all in all, I liked it, I am looking forward to the second instalment!

Jak tohle skončí? ♀️ Trochu Dvory, trochu dark romance, za mě hezky namixovaná fantasy.. Hlavní postavy mají velmi silný příběhy a skvěle se k sobě hodí.. Jediný, co mi trochu vadilo, byli ti "druzi"... Je to všude a je to trochu "otravný", ale autorka to celkem hezky rozepsala, tak jí to odpustím..
