The artist Mau Mau has a body of work which stretches back to the 1990s. His street art has chronicled the evolving nature of UK counter-culture and larger world themes which have impacted it. Talking Out of My Art is a chronological journey through Mau Mau''s artwork. It begins with his Devon surfing roots and follows his development as a street artist, honing his skills in London, to exhibiting around the world. His street pieces are always memorable. Part of Mau Mau''s enduring popularity is his ability to simplify complex themes with a quick phrase and the use of characters such as his most well-known creation, Mau Fox. Aside from walls, barns, boats and an array of other interesting places to paint, Mau Mau''s work has appeared on prints, canvases, magazines, clothing and record covers and in exhibition spaces for over 25 years.
