Tolkien byl genius, když dokázal vymyslet a napsat jak Hobita i Pána prstenů. Už od puberty jsem byla fanouškem Tolkiena, ale zatím to byly jenom filmy. A jak jsem byla starší, přišly na řadu knihy. Hobit je krásný, laskavý, dobrodružný příběh s úžasně vymyšleným světem a postavami. Při jeho čtení jsem měla chuť do příběhu skočit a prožít s hrdiny Cestu tam a zase zpátky :-)

Hobit se čte lehčeji, než Silmarillion nebo Pán prstenů, protože byl primárně určený dětem. Nechybí vtipné situace a postavy.

Skvělá kniha, mrzí mě, že nebyla více rozepsaná závěrečná bitva a zpívající elfové mě také příliš nezaujali, ale i tak úžasné!
