I didn't expect that I will love this series so much when I read it for the first time but I have to say it's totally different than annotation says. It's based on the “Beauty and the Beast” story, but the whole plot is original right from the beginning. I'm really looking forward to see Tamlin's beats form in the movie, because he is mix of so many creatures and I had a problem to imagine him in my mind. Feyre is an interesting character and I like the reason why she had to go with Tamlin. To be honest, in my mind, Spring court wasn’t so nice as it should be. There was something missing and I think that my soul was prepared for something bigger – and I'm happy, because we got it in other books. I really liked Lucien in this book, he was the funny element. And all these magical creatures in the world around the castle are interesting. I really wanted to discover more and more of it. The end of the book was full of surprises. It was brutal and far away from the fairytale that we got in the first part of the book. These murders and torturing – wow. But I'm happy for that, because it brought the whole book on a different level. The plot about Rhysand was also cool. I knew that he will have bigger role in the next book, but it was hard to say if he will be a bad guy or if he could change. God, live this book. Only negative thing for me was that Amarantha could be more powerful. Everybody was afraid of her but we didn’t see much of her powers.
