Ke knize jsem se dostala úplnou náhodou. Omylem se mi objevila na poličce, ale musím říci, že to byl skutečný objev. Naprosto skvěle napsané, čtivé a historicky výborně podložené.

Má nejoblíbenější kniha od Steinbecka. A to jako tento spisovatel má spoustu krásných knih. I tato kniha patřila k povinné četbě, ale já ji četla proto, že prostě autorovy knihy mám ráda. I tato je skvělá.
